Dedicated to and for my daughter. I have been thinking for a long time what to blog, till I realized I could tell so much about my daughter. About her daily activities, how she grows and learns, and makes us happy everyday and how she is a blessing from God.

Sniffer
Sniffer was her pet fish. Sniffer was a blue fighting fish. Isabel called her many names, Sleepy-Eaty, Sniffy, among others. Sniffer was her pet for over a year. She fed it and loved cleaning the fish bowl. On December 29 2011, Sniffer died, probably due to age, i don't know how long a fighting fish lives, but Sniffer was a tough one. Isabel cried, and cried really hard when her pet fish died. We buried Sniffer in our garden, where Isabel can remember her.

Baby Alive asleep
Putting her Baby Alive to sleep. I remember when she was a baby -- well she's still a baby up to now -- she could fit into a pillow, and we put her to sleep. Now she has grown up, i bet she wants a baby sister or brother to play with. :)

Daddy's got tattoo
I got my first tattoo. She inked this on my chest, using a pen, sure it hurts, but sure it's sweet too! I wish she got this inked on her heart. Dad loves Isabel, too.

Mga Kuwento Ni Lola Basyang
Last August 26, 2011, Isabel with her mommy watched Ang Mga Kuwento ni Lola Basyang in Assumpta Theater in Assumption Antipolo City. There were three stories played -- Ang Prinsipeng May Mahabang Ilong; Ang Dalagang Tumalo sa Datu; at Ang Prinsipeng Duwag. She was really happy watching it, especially watching it with her mommy.

Maskara
Her new toy. We bought it in Eastwood Mall, at Eastwood City, Libis, after a family dinner, Dampa style, at Ortigas Depot.
She likes it pink, with blue feather. :)

Tatay's Death Anniversary
Today, August 16 2011 marks the first year anniversary of my father, Isabel's lolo. Me and my wife went to Bulacan to commemorate it with our family and loved ones. Everyone was asking where is Maria, as she is fondly called in Bulacan. "Ayaw mag-absent", we said. Last night Isabel said, she will not be going with us, she asked her teacher if she can be absent for class, for today, but her teacher said no, and so she decided not to go with us.
My nanay's siblings were there and so with their spouses, quite a lot of people came, including the elders who were there to offer prayers, as always.
When we came home, Isabel said "Dad , Mom, na-miss ko kayo. Na-miss nyo ko?" Of course, yes! :)
During the old times, the first death anniversary, is often called babang-luksa, or laglag-luksa.
